The coast is ten minutes to the south, and we're on the edge of the New Forest National park - ten minutes to the north. Market and Quay town of Lymington is ten minutes, and Bournmouth and Southampton twenty. Salisbury, Winchester, and the Jurassic Coast are other popular visits from here with all sorts of activities and things to do for families and couples. We have a bus stop at the edge of the field, and good trains from Brockenhurst.

There are four pitches at Lightfoot's Farm this year, Orchard has two tents and can sleep up to ten and the others are single tents sleeping five each. It could be a perfect site to come to with friends and from which to explore the forest walking or cycling - although you will want to use the bus or a car for a few minutes from the site.

Each pitch has its own private wood-fired hot tub; fire pit; picnic table and shower / eco loo. The fire pits won't be available to use during 'fire warning' periods. You can use a shared field kitchen with a small fridge, freezer, hob and dining table.
The tents sleep up to five in total in one king sized bed with bedding provided, and up to three floor mats (we provide the mats, you provide the bedding). Message us if you'd like to pitch additional tents next to your booking.

The tents are robust, but we do close the site if there are very high wind weather warnings of sustained gusts above 45mph. Any such closures are re-bookable.
A shared field shelter provides an option for cooking, eating, or playing a game.​
The tents are cosy - we provide bedding for the king bed, and mats if you book for more than three - you provide the bedding for these. Each pitch has a wooden hot water shower and eco-loo - see below.
We grow microgreens at Lightfoot's farm, and help people grow their own with a simple grow at home kit. Ask if you'd like a look around or to buy some super nutritious, super tasty greens.
